Key Factors for Hepatitis C Virus Training Programs Outlined by Foundation

Many factors are critical for providing effective training about hepatitis C virus (HCV) to patients and their caregivers.

Recently, staffers at the HealthPartners Research Foundation in Minneapolis, Minnesota, outlined their strategy for providing effective training in an educational outreach program for busy health professionals.

The program was targeted to health care workers, including doctors, at several clinics. Initially the program involved four centers, but more clinics were later added.
