COX-2 levels persist in hepatitis B patients despite therapeutic response

Still, researchers in China don't believe high COX-2 enzyme levels contribute to liver inflammation in patients with chronic hepatitis B.

Cheng and colleagues at Prince Wales Hospital in Hong Kong investigated COX-2 expression in 35 patients diagnosed with hepatitis B and in 14 healthy controls.
