Symptomatic illness marks worse prognosis for autoimmune hepatitis patients

Physicians in Jerusalem have retrospectively evaluated liver pathology and prognosis in symptomatic and asymptomatic patients with autoimmune hepatitis (AIH), and determined that those without clinical manifestations might respond better to therapy, extending their long-term outcomes.
