InterMune names Sharon Surrey-Barbari senior VP and CFO

InterMune, Inc., (ITMN) has named Sharon Surrey-Barbari CFO and senior vice president of finance and administration.

She will assume responsibility for all financial, strategic planning, investor relations, information technology, and facilities functions at InterMune reporting to Scott Harkonen, president and CEO.

Surrey-Barbari joins InterMune from Gilead Sciences, Inc., where she most recently served as its vice president and CFO.
