Lamivudine improves renal status in patients with hepatitis B-associated kidney disease

According to recent research published in the journal Kidney International, "although lamivudine is effective for treatment of chronic hepatitis B (HBV) infection, its potential therapeutic impact on HBV-related membranous nephropathy (MN) in adults has not been characterized."
