Stable inhibition of hepatitis B virus proteins is achieved by viral vector RNA

Recent research from England published in the Journal of Gene Medicine has documented stable inhibition of hepatitis B virus (HBV) proteins by small interfering RNA expressed from viral vectors.

"There has been much research into the use of RNA interference (RNAi) for the treatment of human diseases. Many viruses, including hepatitis B virus (HBV), are susceptible to inhibition by this mechanism."
