Study 1: Recent research from Taiwan published in the Journal of Biomedical Science has chronicled the analysis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) gene expression using a full-length cDNA library.
"HCC is a leading cause of death worldwide. Hepatitis B virus (HBV) or hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection has been shown to cause hepatic carcinogenesis," wrote C.C. Tsai and colleagues, National Taiwan University.
