Studies from Asahikawa Medical College, Department of Ophthalmology yield new data on hepatitis c virus therapy

A new study, "Retinal circulatory changes associated with interferon-induced retinopathy in patients with hepatitis C," is now available. In this recently published article, scientists in Asahikawa, Japan conducted a study "To evaluate the effect of interferon (IFN) therapy on retinal microcirculation. Thirty-six patients with chronic hepatitis C who were treated with high-dose IFN were included in this prospective study."
