Studies from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, have provided new information about hepatitis B virus

New hepatitis B virus findings from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, detailed.

Study 1: Fresh data on hepatitis B virus are presented in the report "Radiation-induced hepatitis B virus reactivation in liver mediated by the bystander effect from irradiated endothelial cells. Hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation is one unique pathogenesis in Asian carriers with liver toxicity after radiotherapy for hepatobiliary malignancies. This study attempts to delineate the biological mechanism of radiation-induced HBV reactivation," investigators in Taipei, Taiwan report.
