Scientists discuss in "Association between hepatitis C virus coinfection and regional adipose tissue volume in HIV-infected men and women" new findings in HIV/AIDS. According to a study from the United States, "Coinfection with hepatitis C virus (HCV) is reported to be associated with a higher prevalence of lipodystrophy than HIV infection alone. We examine the association between HCV and adipose tissue volume in HIV-infected men and women."
