Inovio Biomedical Partner Tripep Provides Update on its Hepatitis C DNA Vaccine Program

Inovio Biomedical Corp. (AMEX:INO), focused on the development of DNA-based vaccines for cancers and infectious diseases and a novel alternative to surgery to treat localized cancers, announced today that its partner, Tripep AB of Sweden, has provided an update regarding its application to the Swedish Medical Products Agency (MPA) to initiate a Phase I clinical trial for its proprietary DNA vaccine, ChronVac-C(R), administered using Inovio's MedPulser(R) DNA Delivery System.
