New hepatitis C virus immunology data have been reported by scientists at Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research

A new study, "Hepatitis C virus epitope-specific neutralizing antibodies in Igs prepared from human plasma," is now available. According to recent research from the United States, "Neutralizing antibodies directed against hepatitis C virus (HCV) are present in Igs made from anti-HCV-positive plasma. However, these HCV-specific Igs are largely ineffective in vivo."
