Fresh data on hepatocellular cancer are presented in the report "Increased regulatory T cells correlate with CD8 T-cell impairment and poor survival in hepatocellular carcinoma patients." According to recent research from Beijing, People's Republic of China, "Recent studies have suggested that CD4(+)CD25(+) regulatory T cells (Treg) are increased and linked to compromised immune responses in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
