Reports from Stanford University add new data to research in hepatitis C virus

Research findings, 'A Rab-GAP TBC domain protein binds hepatitis C virus NS5A and mediates viral replication,' are discussed in a new report. According to recent research published in the Journal of Virology, "'Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is an important cause of liver disease worldwide. Current therapies are inadequate for most patients."
