Researchers at Lok Nayak Hospital, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology release new data on hepatitis C virus risk factors

Fresh data on hepatitis C virus are presented in the report 'Prevalence & risk factors for hepatitis C virus among pregnant women.' "Information on hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in pregnant women in India is scanty. This study was carried out to investigate the prevalence of HCV within an obstetric population in north India and to identify the various risk factors for the viral infection," scientists in New Delhi, India report.
