Data from University of Hong Kong, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine provide new insights into cancer

Researchers detail in 'Molecular pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma,' new data in cancer. "Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the fifth most common cancer and the third leading cause of cancer death worldwide. Hepatocarcinogenesis is a multistep process evolving from normal through chronic hepatitis/cirrhosis and dysplastic nodules to HCC," researchers in Hong Kong report.
