Reports outline liver cancer study findings from Cancer Council

Scientists discuss in 'Preventing primary liver cancer: how well are we faring towards a national hepatitis B strategy' new findings in liver cancer. "Worldwide, over 80% of primary liver cancers are attributable to chronic infection with hepatitis B or C virus. Over the past two decades, primary liver cancer incidence rates have been consistently rising in Australia," researchers in Sydney, Australia report.
