Scientists at University of Dusseldorf, Medical Department publish new data on angiogenesis

According to recent research from Dusseldorf, Germany, "Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is associated with the production of serum cytokines, including transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta 2. Despite the occurrence of hepatic angiogenesis in liver conditions, the role of HCV proteins in this context is currently unknown.
