Reports from Zhejiang University, Department of Dermatology describe recent advances in hypersensitivity therapy

New investigation results, 'Complete atrioventricular block associated with dapsone therapy: a rare complication of dapsone-induced hypersensitivity syndrome,' are detailed in a study published in Journal of Clinical Pharmacy & Therapeutics. "Dapsone is still widely used for a range of infectious and inflammatory diseases. A potential severe side-effect, known as dapsone-induced hypersensitivity syndrome (DHS), may occur," scientists in People's Republic of China report.
