Study results from Mayo Clinic update understanding of hepatitis C virus

According to a study from the United States, "Many patients with chronic hepatitis C have not responded to therapy with pegylated interferon plus ribavirin. To evaluate use of peginterferon-alpha 2a plus ribavirin to re-treat nonresponders to peginterferon-alpha 2b plus ribavirin."
