Data from Pontificia University Catolica of Chile, Department of Gastroenterology provide new insights into hepatitis C virus

New investigation results, 'Routes of transmission of hepatitis C virus,' are detailed in a study published in Annals of Hepatology. "Hepatitis C is one of the most common causes of chronic liver disease in Latin America. It is essential to understand the different mechanisms of transmission of the infection in order to design control measures," scientists in Santiago, Chile report.
