Research conducted at Y. Zhou and co-authors has provided new information about hepatocellular cancer

2011 JAN 10 -- New research, 'Circulating LTD4 in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma,' is the subject of a report. "Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a type of inflammation-related cancer that usually follows chronic inflammations. Leukotriene D4 (LTD4) is a potent biologically active arachidonic acid-derived lipid mediator that is intimately involved in inflammations and cancers," scientists in Wuhan, People's Republic of China report.
