Data from Duke University Medical Center Provide New Insights into Hepatitis C Virus

2011 MAY 9 -- New investigation results, 'Hepatitis C treatment among racial and ethnic groups in the IDEAL trial,' are detailed in a study published in Journal of Viral Hepatitis. "Previous studies of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment have demonstrated variations in response among racial and ethnic groups including poorer efficacy rates among African American and Hispanic patients.
