Studies from Kwandong University, Department of Laboratory Medicine add new findings in the area of staphylococcal therapy

New investigation results, "Prevalence of inducible clindamycin resistance in staphylococcal isolates at a Korean tertiary care hospital," are detailed in a study published in Yonsei Medical Journal. According to a study from Korea, "Clindamycin resistance in Staphylococcus species can be either constitutive or inducible. Inducible resistance cannot be detected by the conventional antimicrobial susceptibility test."
