Researchers from University of Paris report on findings in sepsis therapy

Current study results from the report, "Plasma-induced endothelial oxidative stress is related to the severity of septic shock," have been published. In this recently published study, investigators in Le Kremlin-Bicetre, France conducted a study "To estimate the capacity of plasma from septic shock patients to induce in vitro reactive oxygen species (ROS) production by endothelial cells and to analyze whether ROS production is related to the severity of the septic shock. Prospective, observational study."
