Mediware's Transfusion Management Software Adopted by Major Florida Health System

Mediware Information Systems (NASDAQ:MEDW) announced that Gainesville, Fla.-based Shands HealthCare has licensed Mediware's HCLL(TM) Transfusion Management software system, which provides automated support for highly regulated blood-related processes to reduce transfusion errors, improve patient safety and maximize operational efficiency.

"Shands' upcoming implementation of the HCLL system is an important step in making blood transfusion as safe as possible for our patients.
