Air Methods Products Division Awarded Follow-On Production and Spares Contract for Stryker Medical Evacuation Vehicle

Air Methods Corporation (NASDAQ:AIRM), announced that its Products Division has received a contract from General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) for continuing production of Patient Litter Systems and spares for the Stryker Medical Evacuation Vehicle (MEV).

"The Stryker MEV has proven itself as an effective asset in Iraq to quickly treat and transport injured personnel out of harm's way to a medical treatment facility or to a secure location for air evacuation," said Art Torwirt, Vice President. "We are proud to be part of this program to support our troops overseas."
