The upgrades will include design changes to the patient litter lift system and ambulatory patient seating to increase structural capability, reliability and maintainability and incorporate improvements identified by crewmembers gained from their experience operating the aircraft in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom - Afghanistan.
