New biomedicine study findings have been published by scientists at Alfa Institute of Biomedical Sciences

Current study results from the report, 'Exposure to cold and respiratory tract infections,' have been published. According to recent research from Athens, Greece, "'There is a constant increase in hospitalizations and mortality during winter months; cardiovascular diseases as well as respiratory infections are responsible for a large proportion of this added morbidity and mortality. Exposure to cold has often been associated with increased incidence and severity of respiratory tract infections."
