Researchers from University Hospital detail new studies and findings in the area of life sciences

New investigation results, 'Accumulation of homocysteine by decreasing concentrations of folate, vitamin B12 and B6 does not influence the activity of human osteoblasts in vitro,' are detailed in a study published in Clinica Chimica Acta. "' Homocysteine (HCY) has recently been linked to fragility fractures. Elevated circulating HCY is mainly caused by folate, vitamin B12 and B6 deficiencies," scientists writing in the journal Clinica Chimica Acta report.
