Pekin Hospital Automates Medication-Use Process, Manages Controlled Substances With Omnicell Solutions

Pekin Hospital, a 125-bed medical center that provides advanced care and state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities, has chosen Omnicell, Inc. (NASDAQ: OMCL) automation technology for managing its medication-use process.

To date, Pekin Hospital has installed three OmniRx(R) and 11 OmniSupplier(R) medication distribution and dispensing systems, six of which have OmniDispenser modules that incorporate automated single-dose dispensing.
