Reports on psychological stress findings from Sun Yat-Sen University, Department of Nephrology provide new insights

Fresh data on psychological stress are presented in the report 'Effect of social support on psychological-stress-induced anxiety and depressive symptoms in patients receiving peritoneal dialysis.' According to recent research from Guangzhou, People's Republic of China, "The objective of this study was to assess the association of psychological stress and social support with anxiety and depressive symptoms in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Eighty-one patients receiving PD were recruited."
