Dr. Dan Lebovitz of Ohio Receives Leadership Award

On Thursday June 18th, 2009, the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO) recognized Dr. Dan Lebovitz by presenting him with the 2009 Excellence in Leadership Award. The AOPO award was supported by the Nathan Sallop Insurance Agency. The national award is presented to an individual who demonstrates leadership through outstanding achievements in the organ procurement field.

Dr. Dan Lebovitz has been actively involved in the organ and tissue donation and transplantation community for almost two decades. Throughout this time, he has held many leadership roles including serving both on the Board of Directors of two OPOs and as the Medical Director of two OPOs....
