The nation's second largest for-profit hospital chain said it received a request from the U.S. Attorney's office in Los Angeles for information related to 353 patient records at the Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.
The request centers on coding and billing practices dating from 1993, Tenet said.
