Cancer coalition donates cancer medicines to Ecuador

The U.S. National Cancer Coalition announces the donation of cancer pharmaceuticals to needy cancer patients in Ecuador with a value of over $1.5 million to assist needy breast cancer and pediatric leukemia patients.

A hand-over ceremony was recently held at the SOLCA hospital headquarters in Guayaquil to officially recognize NCC's donations to Ecuador. Participants included U.S. Consul General Kevin Herbert, NCC international programs director Thomas Roane, and the president of SOLCA Hospitals Ecuador Dr. Gustavo Calderon. Following the ceremony, the delegation toured the hospital and visited with cancer patients that are currently being assisted.
