Studies describe new findings in hepatitis B virus research

Investigators in Taiwan and Japan have published new hepatitis B virus data.

Study 1: In a recent report published in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology, researchers in Taiwan clarified the clinical significance of hepatitis B virus (HBV) genotypes and precore and core promoter mutations affecting HBV e antigen (HbeAg) expression.
