Skin Cancer Risk Factors

New skin cancer risk factors study findings have been published by scientists at Karolinska Institut, Department of Oncology and Pathology

New investigation results, "Risk perception, optimistic bias, and readiness to change sun related behaviour," are detailed in a study published in The European Journal of Public Health. According to a study from Stockholm, Sweden, "The incidence of skin cancer has had a rapid increase in Sweden during the last 20 years. Sun exposure is an important preventable risk factor for skin cancer."
