Study findings from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Department of Surgery broaden understanding of bariatric in adolescents

New investigation results, "Bariatric surgery in adolescents: recent national trends in use and in-hospital outcome," are detailed in a study published in Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine. "To analyze recent nationwide trends in the use of adolescent bariatric surgery and to compare early postoperative outcomes of adolescents and adults undergoing these procedures. Analysis of national administrative data by using survey analysis techniques," investigators in the United States report.
