Cross Country Healthcare Reports First Quarter 2007 Results

Cross Country Healthcare, Inc. (Nasdaq:CCRN) reported revenue of $176.1 million in the first quarter ended March 31, 2007, a 10% increase from the prior year quarter. Net income increased 5% year-over-year to $4.8 million, or $0.15 per diluted share. A year earlier, the Company reported first quarter revenue of $159.8 million and net income of $4.6 million, or $0.14 per diluted share. Net cash used in operations for the first quarter of 2007 was $1.6 million, which included a $6.7 million pre-tax payment for a previously disclosed settlement of a lawsuit.
