Researchers from University of Florence describe findings in hepatitis C virus in children

Research findings, "SEN virus co-infection among HCV-RNA-positive mothers, risk of transmission to the offspring and outcome of child infection during a 1-year follow-up," are discussed in a new report. "SEN is a newly discovered blood-transmissible virus. Among its variants, SENV-D and -H are most often associated with non-A, -E hepatitis," scientists in Florence, Italy report.
