Study findings from the United States, Belgium and the United Kingdom broaden understanding of cardiology

Cardiology is the focus of recent research from the United States, Belgium and the United Kingdom.

Study 1: "Reactive oxygen (ROS) and nitrogen species (RNS) generation have been proposed to be an important mechanism of doxorubicin (Adriamycin; ADR)-induced cardiotoxicity and cardiomyocyte apoptosis, processes that may be mediated by p53 protein," scientists writing in the journal Antioxidants & Redox Signaling report.
