New investigation results, 'Hepatic hemangiomas and parachuting,' are detailed in a study published in Aviation Space & Environmental Medicine. According to a study from the United States, "Hepatic hemangiomas are relatively common benign hepatic tumors. Historically, a concern for potential traumatic rupture has influenced clinical judgment regarding optimal treatment."
