Bon Secours St. Mary's Is First Hospital in U.S. to Perform New Gastric Banding Procedure

A team of bariatric surgeons at Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital today performed the first adjustable gastric band procedure in the United States using the REALIZE(TM) Adjustable Gastric Band-C, the newest REALIZE(TM) Personalized Banding Solution.

REALIZE(TM) Band-C is an implantable device used for adjustable gastric banding procedures for severely obese patients. It features a streamlined, curved design and an expanded adjustment range to accommodate larger patients.
