New Group to Focus on Accountability for the Nation’s Health Insurers

Created to provide a unified voice of concern for health care providers, patients, employers and caregivers from across the country, a new grassroots movement named FAIR (www.fairmanagedcare.org) launched today.

Troubled by a historical pattern of inadequate reimbursement and lack of financial transparency by the nation’s largest health insurers, FAIR will advocate for greater responsibility, transparency and fair financial treatment from America’s health insurers – especially as political resolve builds to reform the nation’s health care system.
