AMCP Past President, FMCP Trustee John Hopkins Retires as CEO of Rocky Mountain Health Plans

John Hopkins, R.Ph., a past president of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and current trustee of the Foundation for Managed Care Pharmacy (FMCP), recently retired as CEO of Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP). As head of the Grand Junction, Colo.-based insurer, Hopkins helped create and support a managed care model that has been nationally recognized for improving health outcomes while lowering costs.

RMHP has been upheld by both sides of the health care reform debate.

Proponents of current legislation tout the plan's collaborative and integrated approach to health care delivery as a model for what health care reform should look like....
