Study raises concerns about Medicaid overhaul

New Hampshire could lose $50 million to $190 million over 5 years if it agrees to a cap on federal Medicaid payments, according to a study released September 9, 2004.

The New Hampshire Endowment for Health commissioned the study to provide state policy makers with more information as they consider ways to overhaul the program, which provides healthcare to poor, disabled and elderly residents.
