HPI established at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia

University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) (USP) has established a new Health Policy Institute (HPI) to become an essential resource and provide supportive services and analyses for policymakers in both the public and private sectors and for researchers and scholars.

Richard G. Stefanacci, DO, MBA, AGSF, will serve as the executive director of the HPI.

The HPI will address key and compelling issues foremost in national healthcare, such as the challenges caused by the increasing number of elders, the growing complexity in the use of medications in the elderly, and the effect of the anticipated Medicare prescription drug benefit program....
