Access Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (AKC) reported results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2005.

The company reported a net loss of $3,786,000, or $0.24 per share, for the second quarter, as compared to net loss of $2,553,000, or $0.17 per share, for the corresponding quarter in 2004. The net loss for the 6-month period ended June 30, 2005, was $6,208,000, or $0.40 per share, compared with a net loss of $4,904,000, or $0.33 per share for the corresponding period in 2004.

Revenue in the second quarter of 2005 was $249,000 compared to $68,000 in the same quarter of 2004, reflecting an increase in product sales $201,000 offset by a decrease in licensing...
