Sigma-Genosys introduces mass-based purification systems for peptide services

Sigma-Genosys, a division of Sigma-Aldrich (SIAL), has expanded its portfolio of technologies to support its rapidly growing custom peptide business.

Central to this expansion is the introduction of mass-based purification systems. LC/MS purification has supplanted conventional, less-specific UV detectors as the method of choice for peptide purification. The utilization of this technology in the Sigma-Genosys manufacturing process has significantly increased throughput. Analytical capabilities also have been augmented by the introduction of MS/MS detection.
