New acute pancreatitis study findings recently were reported by researchers at Academic Medical Center

Current study results from the report, 'Trends and forecasts of hospital admissions for acute and chronic pancreatitis in the Netherlands,' have been published. According to a study from Amsterdam, Netherlands, "The incidence and prevalence of acute and chronic pancreatitis have increased in Western countries. It is likely, the number of hospital admissions has increased correspondingly."
